Alaska Air announced to acquire Virgin America on Monday. The acquisition will be another consolidation in American airline industry.

Alaska Airlines is poised to acquire Virgin America for $2 billion deal surpassing JetBlue with a $56 to $58 per share condition. An announcement will be made should the agreement pursue as the talks are not yet final.
Virgin America, the U.S. based low-fare airline, teamed up with the top Internet TV network, Netflix, to provide a free in-flight streaming of movies and TV shows.
To enhance passengers in-fight entertainment experience, United States-based airline carrier, Virgin America is introducing its latest version of its "Red system", which works on an Android platform and uses a high resolution multi-touch screen, like today's smartphones. The Android-based entertainment systems also gets more storage capacity, more games, improved maps and surround sound technology from startup Dysonics.
Cupertino, US-based cloud marketing startup Ensighten purchased London, UK-based tag management firm TagMan for an undisclosed sum to gain traction over its bigger rivals in the website marketing sector.
