It's official that the latest Android version will be called Marshmallow. While it is not yet officially released to the public, a developer preview version is already available.

After months of guessing, Google formally announces the M on Android M as Marshmallow, the next best thing for Google's long list of their Android operating system. The Android Marshmallow will feature Android Pay, Doze, and Tap which will surely give the users new whole experience.

A video from Google insider Nat and Lo was uploaded recently in relation to Android M's name. The 1 minute and 7 seconds musically inspired video offered a lot of suggestions a particular scene of the video suggests that M stands for Marshmallow.
Google and its partners have never been busy in releasing updates since the Stagefright came into the picture. Of all the carriers that might be affected by the threat, Verizon was one of the few to react quickly in releasing updates.
LG's Nexus 5 will be out in the next couple of months and as expected, images and information will be soon available in the internet, like what is currently happening with Apple and Samsung. The leaked information shows a fully assembled Nexus which shows a rear fingerprint sensor.
Despite Google's claim that they have the fix for the Stagefright hack, the fixes turns out to be flaws and are no way close to the hack. With this news, experts are still claiming that the 950 million Android users around the world is still prone to the hack until Google comes up with something.
