How to Install CyanideL Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Custom ROM Update To LG 2012 Nexus 4: A Step By Step Guide

The first step is to of course download the CyanideL Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM to the computer. Next, is to connect the Nexus 4 to the PC using the USB data cable and mount its USB memory storage.

After which, transfer the CyanideL Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM zip file to the root folder of the device's SD card on the phone then disconnect the phone from the PC and turn the Nexus 4 off, to make way for the Bootloader Mode.

Now in order to access the phone's Bootloader Mode, you need to hold and press down the Volume UP, Volume Down, and Power simultaneously. After that was done, proceed by following the on-screen instructions and select the Bootloader>CWM Recovery.

While on the CWM Recovery, wipe all data/factory reset, and wipe cache partition as well as wipe Dalvik cache. You can get to the Dalvik cache by going to Advanced then Wipe Dalvik Cache. After the wiping is done, go back to the Recovery Menu and choose install zip from SD Card > choose zip from sdcard.

The CyanideL Android 5.1.1 Lollipop brings tons of upgrades and new features for the aging but able LG Nexus 4. With this update, the LG Nexus 4 will definitely work and function like freshly unboxed mobile phone.
