Apple is expected to once again dominate the market this coming fall when the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be formally launched. The new S series phablets will feature a new chipset which will address the power consumption issue and the Force Touch Technology. In addition, the iPhone 6c is also set to make its debut in the 2Q of 2016 which is expected to bring back the lost glory of the 4-inch screen iPhones.

The next Nexus phone is expected to be released this coming September and according to Google, it will have the main features, the Google M operating system and the Android Pay. The Android Pay is expected to go head to head with the Apple Pay due to its features and benefits.
Samsung's Galaxy A8 and Xiaomi's Mi Note Pro went head to head with each other. The two phablets offered uniqness and impressive features such as their 5.7-inch screen with 1440x2560 pixels (Samsung) and Xiaomi's 16MP primary camera with tons of features. After careful considerations, the China-based company emerges as the winner.
HTC finally announced the arrival of the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for their HTC One M9 users in the EMEA region. Although the update would not promise a lot, it will sure bring an enhanced customer experience due to its bugs fixes and stability improvements.
Tech giants Apple and Samsung will go at it once again with their upcoming babies the iPhone 6s Plus and Galaxy Note 5. Apple is rumored to release a budget friendly and 4 inched screen by the 2nd quarter of 2016. The rumored smartphone is believed to be iPhone 5s' future version the iPhone 6c. It was eyed to be released this year, but Apple decided to pull it back to make way for the success of the iPhone 6 series.
Samsung's recent adjustment of their flagship phablet the Galaxy Note 5 release only meant one thing, they are totally feeling the pressure to improve their numbers against Apple who is set to release their iPhone 6s and 6s Plus two months after Samsung's launch.
Apple apparently did not totally killed the early 2015 rumor that they will be releasing 3 iPhones this year. Instead, Apple is now looking to launch 3 iPhones in 2016, and the earliest possible release of the first iPhone is in the 2nd quarter of the year.
Sony has finally released the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for their Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 users, but according to sources, Sony is not yet done with the update since they are still currently testing another update which will give the Xperia users a new dimension of experience with their devices.
Sprint confirmed that they have the update to prevent the Android Stagefright hack. The service provider is now offering the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update that has the Stagefright fix and they decided to have it first on their Galaxy Note 4 phablets.
Google created an independent company, Google Auto LLC, to free them from any liabilities if and when the robot cars will be in trouble, in the future. The robot-driven cars were officially put on the street in June and has so far had 11 reported accidents.
Apple once again grabbed the top spot with regards to market share. Apple is ahead against its competitors Android, Windows, and Blackberry with a clear breakaway 43.5 percent. Apple also dominated the other smartphone brands with 41.6 percent edging its rival Samsung with only 26.7 percent.
The Taiwan based company HTC confirmed that they will pass on the upcoming Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for their flagship HTC One M8. An executive from the company said that they will have to pass on the update and will go with the Android M instead for their One M8 and upcoming phones.
Google's upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) will come in the market in September boasting an 820 Snapdragon proccessor and a 5.2 inch full HD display, 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage, on top of other excellent features it has. However, the big concern was the phone's tight internal memory and low battery life, which Google, according to experts, have left out purposely.
