OnePlus 2 is dubbed to be the iPhone killer but with its upcoming official release, it will not only go head to head with the market leader Apple but with Google's Nexus 5 (2015), too.

OnePlus is very popular to feature top of the line features and a very affordable price. On the other hand, Google will also provide excellent features that will make the buyers every penny worth it.

Before the official launch and the battle amongst OnePlus and Google will commence, let us see how the two flagship phablets out battle one another. Yibada reported that long before the official release of the OnePlus 2, reservations is currently at over 2 million. The numbers showing for the OnePlus 2 is also in its way in breaking the OnePlus One reservations, which was booked at around 1.5 million units.

While Google's Nexus 5 (2015) has been receiving excellent reviews and has been keeping the public on their toes because of the promise that the phablet will carry Google's anticipated Android M.

Looking into the iPhone killer first, according to Venture Beat review, the OnePlus 2 phablet is excellently priced considering that it will bring premium specs such as 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display, 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 system processor, 3300mAh lithium polymer battery, 64GB storage and eMMC 5.0 flash memory as well as 4GB of RAM.

The OnePlus 2 will be sold at $389. However, it is also reported that a 16GB version of the OnePlus 2 with 3GB of RAM will be available at a later date at $329.

Moving to Google's flagship Nexus 5 (2015), it will be released sometime in October and was rumored to run by Google's Android M. The phablet will also have the Android Pay, which is Google's answer to Apple's Apple Pay. This will also replace the unsuccessful Google Wallet, but it (Google Wallet) will still be available in Google Play, Android Pit cited.

The Nexus 5 (2015) will have a slightly smaller screen at 5.2 inches and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor. It will also have the newest fingerprint sensor technology as well as a 13MP primary camera and a 4MP secondary snapper. Although Google has yet to set the price of the phablet, it was rumored that it will be sold at $300 to $400.

OnePlus 2 is obviously offering a lot under its hood at a more reasonable price but the downside of it is that it will only be offered to chosen few and will have a limited number of sales, while the Nexus 5 (2015) is equally feature power packed like the OnePlus 2, its advantage is clearly the market share and loyalty customers of Google.
