Controversial EXO former member Luhan, was recently spotted in Beijing. This was his first appearance since he filed a lawsuit for the nullification of his contract with SM Entertainment earlier this month.

Allkpop reported that the Chinese idol was photographed while in a cafe in Beijing. The photos appeared on October 23 when Chinese media outlet Sina reported Luhan's appearance.

A part of the Sina article reads, "Luhan looked to be in a very high-spirited and lighthearted mood.  After getting the drink he ordered, Luhan did not stick around in the store, but went straight for the store exit."

The twelve photos posted by the news outlet reveals the idol wearing cap and sneakers.

Immediately after the news broke, it has caught the attention of the members of EXO-L, the official fans club of EXO. The photos, according to Koreaboo, went viral as fans spread them on social media. Fans of the idol have not heard any news or updates about Luhan since he left EXO earlier this month.

The widely followed, fan favorite idol recently made news after filing a lawsuit to nullify his xclusive contract with EXO's record label SM Entertainment. Luhan has since halted his activities with the now 10-member group and headed to his home in Beijing.

The giant record label company has been through a number of conflicts with their artist for the past few weeks. It started with Jessica revealing she was forced out of the agency's titan girl group Girls' Generation.

It was only over a week after when Luhan reportedly filed his lawsuit.

These were not the first time SM was involved with conflicts with their artists this year. In May, Kris of EXO filed the same lawsuit as Luhan's and has since departed from the highly successful group. Sulli of girl group f(x) was announced to be going on a hiatus which was made while the group is doing promotions for "Red Light."

The series of events has since caused many fans to put the blame to SM Entertainment.
