Android has been a top contender against Apple's iOS for the last several years. The Android mobile operating system has gained a huge part of the market catering to tens of millions of people. The following list sums up some of the best Android applications for users to try.

1.)   Fiverr

-Do you need something done? Do you have 5 dollars to spare? Fiverr is an application that serves as a middleman for users to purchase services from other users for denominations of 5 dollars. With this application, everything goes smooth with its interface and messaging system. Some of the services that users offer include writing blog posts, preparing letters of recommendation, designing a business logo, and many more!

2.)   Smart Launcher

-This application takes over the user interface on their Android phones. It replaces users' lock and home screens, and separates all of the installed applications into groups. After a while, it will also learn what applications you use often, and make those applications more accessible.

3.)   Rumr

-An all new group messaging application that allows you to chat anonymously with your friends, a service very similar to Omegle. While chatting with your friends in a private chat room, you will be assigned a particular color for your chat bubbles. There will be no names, and every time a new person joins the chat, the color of your chat bubble will change.

4.)   Zombies, Run!

-This application gives you a creepy atmosphere as you run. While running, the application tracks your running stats, while telling you a story about the zombie apocalypse. Unique features in this application are the "Zombie Chases," that force you to run fast or "get eaten" during a mission. It is currently on season 3, with various content which includes side missions and race missions.

5.)   Timehop

-This application helps you reminisce and revisit your past by showing old photos or posts from your social media accounts, particularly Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Foursquare. This application is most useful when checking what your interests were a couple of years ago, as well as what you were doing in the past.
