The secret to living abundantly is to live abundantly, but what are the best ways to make the most out of giving? For some, it can mean to volunteer and for some, it can mean to make periodic donations. But a larger question here which we should ask is that, is it helping to create a systemic or organized change? Will it be helping in any way to reduce the real problems such as poverty? Will it be sustainable enough to provide productive ways to help others fulfill their needs and make them self-dependent and thrive without outside it, in turn, can it lead to making them reach to a point that they start giving back to others?

We can see it in another way as a persistent problem with charities that is if the charities are successful in their endeavor, their clients are no longer in need of what they have to offer, in a nutshell, they put them out of business. If we see it on a global level things such as basic income and government subsidies put a question mark on creating dependency. But another side of the coin is to assume that people are lazier and less motivated and that's why we need to help them.

But if you're looking to do something more, we can take these three models of given which can enable us to help all types of people break free from the vicious cycle of poverty and contribute to the creation of something Which will make a lasting and effective change in the community sustainably. So here are 3 ways to give charity in a sustainable manner.

Direct giving:

According to a report by NPR, "evidence has been mounting up about the effectiveness of cash shared over the traditional means of aid to the poor, like food or seeds" Today there is a need that we should find a way to go against the grain, and not give charity or Aid in "kind", which is the provision of whatever we think is the need of the poor people and what we think they needed the most. But contrary to his popular belief the results of giving in cash directly to the benefactors have been astonishing as people when given money, utilize their free money combined with what they have to start businesses and grow themselves as well as the economy of the country.

For instance, we can take organizations like GiveDirectly which have also found lasting impact from this concept of single-time donations to poor people with no strings attached. And people often utilized this money to start small businesses or invest it in their children's education, leading to lasting improvements in their quality of life.

Training instead of donating:

Another initiative which we can take is to create some local training and employment opportunities by offering training programs or imparting the skills in which we hold our expertise. We can also look forward to joining hands with some organization that is interested in partnering with organizations to train people to provide some final good or services to the poor people. Its benefits will be to fold that one the person who will be employed that will earn money and secondly their products or services will be made available at a nominal price to the poor.

Feeding to fuel change:

Another pressing concern as of now is related to food security, as it impacts a huge number of people in the whole world. This means that at present there are millions of people living in the world without access to nutritious food and healthy food. But if we could feed someone consistently then we can provide them with all the energy they need to live a quality life. Where they can think about doing something with their life rather than scavenging for food.

Like for instance, we can take ME to WE which is a social enterprise enabling people to do well through their everyday choices. Founded in 2009 by Craig Kielburger who is a social entrepreneur and the co-founder of a family of organizations to provide economic opportunity in WE Village communities and a sustainable source of funding for WE Charity, ME to WE has grown into a global force for good.
