Rock Band 4 FULL Track Roster Officially Revealed Prior to Oct 6 Release; 1st Massive Feature UPDATE Adds 'Surprise' New Mode

Rock Band 4 is only a few sleeps away from its official October 6 debut and game developer Harmonix has begun to tease the fans on what the new game will have to offer post launching. Also, the full list of tracks to be featured including the 12 free songs that come with pre-order have been revealed.    

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Harmonix has dished interesting details on the first major Rock Band 4 feature update for PS4 and Xbox One on December 8.This first massive feature update is confirmed to include exciting new 'social and competitive features' plus some 'surprises'.

Moreover, the game will have 'variable breakneck speed' for the first time ever as a response from fans' requests for and suggestions. The new feature will enable gamers 'control note scrolling speeds for each track independently' as what the developer put it.  

Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak also tackled that those 'surprises' include new mode that will improve the gameplay in a serously major way which fans will absolutely fall for.  

Janiak stated: 

With the core game already shipping to retailers for an October 6 launch, we're excited to start looking at the future of Rock Band for our fans. We already have a team hard at work building new features for the platform, some based on player feedback, along with some surprises, including a new mode that changes gameplay in a really significant way that we think people are going to love.
