The Tizen operating system is unceasingly developing for years already. As a matter of fact, some smartphones were running it at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last February. During that event, Samsung announced that their Samsung Gear 2 and Gear Neo will be powered up using Tizen. The Samsung Z that was launched in Russia was the first smartphone to use the Tizen OS, as it was reported by Trusted Reviews in June last year.

Samsung is still using Google's Android OS to run its range of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. But the Korean manufacturer has confirmed its intent to use Tizen soley as an alternative to Google's Android, Apple's iOS and Windows Mobile OS.

As the Geek Snack reported, smartphone users are really not interested with the Tizen OS because most of them were hooked with Android and iOS. But then, the Samsung Company is really confident with their home-grown system and has decided to launch it globally. Tizen-armored smartphones have been available in the market but it is still not globally known.

Galaxy Z3 is rumored to be furnished with the Tizen OS and is said to be available worldwide.

GSMArena cited some of the features that will equip Galaxy Z3. Basically, the Tizen v3.0 OS will be working hand-in-hand with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, Adreno 306 and Quadcore 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53. The device will have an 8 GB internal memory expandable up to 64 GB of external memory and 1 GB of RAM. The primary camera will be 5 megapixels and the front-facing camera is 2 megapixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z3's release date isn't announced yet and Samsung hasn't confirmed much about this device, there are a lot of leaked images and rumors that are emerging around the Internet about specifications and features of the first global Tizen smartphone.
