Android Lollipop's latest software version 5.1.1 is confirmed coming very soon to Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia C4, and Xperia C3 devices. The final Lollipop update will bring changes, improvements and bug fixes from preceding upgrades.
Sony already reported previously a series of rollout schedules revealing which devices will get first a sweet treat from Lollipop. Xperia C3's Android Lollipop update will come after Z3, Z2, Z1 and Z series alongside Xperia T2 Ultra.
However, Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia C4 have not been enlisted in the rollout schedules but definitely would receive the update after upgrade releases to T2 Ultra, C3, M2 and M2 Aqua. While 2014 and 2013 Sony smartphones are getting 5.1.1 software version, the 2015 devices like Xperia Z4, Z4 Tablet, Z3+, and M4 Aqua have not been reported if Sony will mete out the update. Nevertheless, Sony emphasized that timing and availability of rollout dates may vary according to region and/or carrier.
Sony Mobile released on its blog new features native of the company and Google Lollipop's own offerings.
The final version of Lollipop will bring improvements in icons, home launcher, Material Design, power management, and bug fixes, including a security patch for the notorious Stagefright threat.
