A new girl has arrived for "New Girl" actress Zooey Deschanel and husband producer Jacob Pechenik. The couple has welcomed their baby girl recently after tying the knot in a secret ceremony.

Indded, it is a double celebration for newlyweds Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik as their baby girl came into this world in late July in Austin, Texas where Jacob, a movie producer, is based. Mirror reports, a representative of Zooey has confirmed the said news.  

The couple announced that they were engaged and that they were having a baby last January. They initially did not know the gender of the baby and they would want  it to come as a surprise. Zooey, previously shared her pregnancy experience saying she could not eat cheese and sushi nor drink wine or coffee. She said she could only drink half a cup of coffee.

US Magazine reports that Zooey, 35 and Jacob, 42, got married in an intimate ceremony in Texas last June 21 based on court records.

Meanwhile, Zooey's co-star Max Greenfield in "New Girl" believes that the first time mom won't need to get tips from her older sister and actress Emily who has two kids. Greenfield was quoted as saying that Zooey can handle it as she does with their TV show. Zooey is also a producer of "New Girl".

Zooey and Jacob met last year at a movie set and started dating, according to Hollywood Life. Zooey says people cannot expect that she will get her figure back after giving birth like some celebrities do. She says she does not worry about her weight too much as long as she is healthy. The actress does exercises though and eats healthy but stresses that actresses are not models.

Meanwhile, there is no information yet about Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik's baby girl. The newlyweds and new parents are busily enjoying their new family.
