Another year brings another FIFA release. The newest installment to the FIFA videogame series brings another first to the EA Sports series featuring playable Women's National Teams. The game is slated for release on September 25 and can be pre-ordered via Amazon Italy.

FIFA Football is an annually released football association videogame simulator by EA Sports since 1993. It was the first football videogame simulator that carried the official license from FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) The new FIFA 16 will again feature a first for the carrier EA Sports.

FIFA 16 gameplay will feature playable Women's National Teams. In the recently released game FIFA 16 trailer, the game is revealed to be scheduled for a September 25 release date and will feature authentic player likeness that includes the mandatory head scan and an updated player model. EA promises that the animation is tailored to the women players with new running motion, facial animations, and hair movements.

Gameplay for the new Women's National Teams will include Match Day, Offline Tournament, and Online Friendly Matches. EA also notes that you can only pick Women's National Teams to play and compete exclusively against other Women's National Teams.

The game features 12 playable Women's National Teams:

The new FIFA 16 is revealed to be available for pre-order via Amazon Italy, which also reveals that the game will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the older PS3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles. There have been no mention that the 12 playable Women's National Teams will be available for the FIFA Ultimate Teams mode for new players. EA also highlights that the new playable Women's National Teams is exlusive to playing and competing with other Women's National Teams, and that cross-tournaments with the Men's National Teams is not an option in the gameplay.

FIFA 16 is slated to release on September 25 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox Onem and Xbox 360 gaming consoles. Pre order is available via Amazon Italy.
