"The Hateful Eight" is expected to hit the silver screen this November 13 and production is almost done. Samuel L. Jackson reveals Quentin Tarantino's extreme and literally cool method of recreating the stormy Wyoming Mountain in his Western movie -through refrigerating the entire set. 

Samuel Jackson, who plays the role of Major Marquis Warren in Tarantino's forthcoming "The Hateful Eight", revealed via Collider that the director shot the film on a refrigerated set to the extent that the actors themselves could see their own breath. "Quentin shot on a refrigerated set, and it was 30 degrees, every day, in there," Jackson said.

It might sound a little bit cruel but the star of the film actually admitted that it was an incredible idea as well to execute the scenes more realistically. "You could see our breath, but the stuff that we were doing was amazing. We would finish doing a scene and look at each other and just grin like, 'This is incredible', he added.

The story of the forthcoming film "The Hateful Eight" is about a gun-toting group of eight who are forced to take refuge in a mountain lodge after a vicious blizzard hits the area. While most directors choose to portray this kind of setting with the help of computer-generated images, the "Django Unchained" director appears to refuse the application of the said technology in his films. It is believed that shooting the film in a 30-degree set will not only make the setting more real but will also help the cast adapt further into their characters.

Meanwhile, Quentin Tarantino's film will also star Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Walton Giggins, Bruce Dern, and Demian Bichir.

Filming on Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight" has begun back in January with the use of a 70mm camera and is expected to hit the silver screen later this year on November 13.
