Rihanna’s new album R8 features Prince, Paul McCartney and other big singers

Rihanna's has been collaborating with several big time music artists for her much awaited album R8. Among the big names who have been reportedly teaming up with Rihanna are Prince and Paul McCartney.

Boston Herald revealed that "Prince is among the most respected songwriters of all time but chooses his collaborators carefully. Rihanna is so chuffed he wants to work with her and is considering rushing a performance of the track into the Brits. She really wants the song to be a single."

Aside from Prince, the album will also feature Paul McCartney and Kanye West "FourFiveSeconds," which was releases on January 25. The song is presumably the first single from her new album. The Barbadian singer's new record will also feature Calvin Harris, who previously worked on hits "We Found Love" and "Where Have You Been." She has also worked with Natalie Kills for the song Kiss it Better. It was co-written by John Glass and Jeff Bhasker.

Early this year, worldwide EDM star's John Newman told Billboard: "We started to look at tracks to put together for Rihanna... And hopefully, I'll have more of a presence in America." Rihanna is giving gave her fans a sneak peek of a new song called "Higher" on Instagram, where and announces she's working with songwriter and vocal producer. 

The "Pour It Up" singer reportedly registered A Night" which was written by Florence Welch of the Machine + Florence Welch. Welch has confirmed in an interview that the song samples one of her favourite song from Ceremonials. OfficialCharts.com revealed that Ne-Yo "did a few sessions with Rihanna not so long ago ... for the R8 album," and that what he's heard from the collection so far sounds "unlike anything else".

"I did a few sessions with Rihanna not so long ago. We did some stuff for the R8 album. I don't know what's going to be kept and I don't know what's going to happen with it, but we definitely did a few sessions together. I personally feel like when it comes out, people will forget about how long the wait was. It'll definitely be worth the wait. What I've heard so far sounds unlike anything else. It's coming"
