"How To Get Away With Murder" finally returned on air last Thursday. With its premiere's episode "Hello, Raskolnikov, it focused on Annalise's (Viola Davis) plan to cover her husband Sam's (Tom Verica) murder worked. She was able to come up with the plan together with Wes' (Alfred Enoch) as well as her students.

SpoilerTV detailed how Annalise made her plan work out. She was being interviewed by the police who was at the point, Sam's absence, was listed among the missing persons case. The others, the Keating Five, as well as the assistants Frank and Bonnie were also interviewed. They gave the police similar accounts. Since the entire group were together, as no one contradicted with anyone else, they have beautifully executed giving off same insights.

Although Wes and Annalise had already mapped out the entire game, still they have to think so quickly to prevent more possibilities that would create more friction causing paranoia which was already happening. But that kind of approach was not successful from the start since the lawyers had already figured out these kinds of tricks of the trade. Eventually, the group came together within the last moment to present what looks to be a united front. With that, Annalise together with her five promised that they can get away with it given that they should trust her.

Annalise, already woven with interviews and clashes, went to the head of the D.A. Wendy Parks to get the dropped case against Rebecca. She was able to succeed with convincing the judge to force the prosecution to hand over Sam's laptop for a forensic investigation. Later, she also got a confirmation that her 'dead' husband was able to impregnate the deceased Lila Stangard. An event that happened in an abortion clinic was also noted where the two had an argument. Reportedly, Sam became the primary suspect after the DNA results that matched to Lila's baby. Thus, there will be a possibility for a major manhunt for him.

With Annalise's gradual breakdown, Viola Davis revealed as cited in Hollywood Reporter, she said, "It's going to be gradual. You'll see it, it's coming ... I always say that a person acts their nature, not their morals," she added, "So often I see women on television, and they're either really sexually promiscuous or strong - because now we want to see the 'new' woman - but I really don't see the consequences a lot of times."

"How To Get Away With Murder" airs on Thursdays, 10 pm at ABC.
