Team Samsung has another reason to celebrate since South Korea tech company already confirmed that a smartwatch Gear S (Solo) will be available in the Australian market this late October.

The curved AMOLED technology smartwatch is something to look forward to. It looks bigger than other smartwatches in 2-inch display with 480 x 360 pixel resolution, reported Christian Post. It smoothly runs with 1.5 GHz processor, 512MB RAM, has 4GB of internal storage. This device is also packed with powerful features like Tizen, Samsung's very own mobile operating system, according to PC Advisor. It is also equipped with GPS sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a UV detector, a barometer, and a heart rate monitor.

This smartwatch also works independently from your smartphone in contrast to others that are just complementary to the smartphones. This smartwatch allows you to access all the high-priority features from your smart phone such as text messages, emails, calendar and music, Mashable reported. It owns its own apps and it is also 3G powered to let you call and text.

If you are a type who finds time to work out, this will be the right device for you. If you don't want your sweaty hands to touch your smartphone, this smartwatch will serve you well by showing notifications so you don't miss anything while you work out. And to make thing even more convenient, the Gear S is armed with S Voice, that technology which decodes your words into text. The only downside of this is that its 300mAh cell internal battery can only last up to 2 days.

These will also be available in Australia at a price of $A179.

Also, Samsung is set to delight gamers with its Samsung Gear VR which works with Galaxy Note 4. That means you can play games in your phone in virtual reality mode for a superb gaming experience. The device is expected to be available by November at $A249.
