Element Partners invests in Hayward Gordon

Growth equity fund Element Partners, whose focus is on industrial technology firms, recently announced the completion of an investment in Hayward Gordon.

The Toronto, Ontario based firm does design, manufacture and distribution of mixers, pumps and engineered systems for fluid handling mechanisms. Hayward Gordon has a presence in many industrial markets such as food, water, chemical, oil and gas, wastewater treatment among others.

Bill Dube, the former President of Weir Canada joins Hayward Gordon as its incoming President and CEO. He said, on the transaction, "I feel privileged to be leading Hayward Gordon at this important juncture in its evolution. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to build upon the tremendous talent and outstanding technical know-how that has been developed at Hayward Gordon over the previous 60 years. We are looking forward to expanding our capabilities to better serve our existing and future customers."

As for Element Partners, they were represented by England and Company, Royal Bank of Canada provided the credit facility to support the transaction.
