Jay Levine, formerly of Warner Bros., steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Kevin Hart's entertainment company, Hartbeat. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros.'s former executive will be succeeding Hart himself.
Initially, Hart served as interim CEO after the departure of Thai Randolph in November 2023. Levine's transition to Hartbeat follows his leadership in strategy and operations at WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group, departing after the merger with Discovery.
During his tenure at Warner Bros., Levine oversaw corporate business development, strategic investments, and digital partnerships with talent like LeBron James and Ellen DeGeneres, as well as WB's ownership interest in The CW Network.
Kevin Hart expressed confidence in Levine's extensive background and relationships, anticipating continued success and value creation for partners and consumers across all business segments.
Levine, in turn, acknowledged Hart as a trailblazer in the industry and looks forward to scaling and advancing Hartbeat's businesses alongside the team and partners.

Formed in 2022 through the merger of Hartbeat Productions and Laugh Out Loud, Hartbeat comprises three divisions: Hartbeat Studios for IP financing and development and Hartbeat Media for content distribution via channels like the LOL! Network and PULSE are entertainment studios and marketing consultancy funded by brands.
With 23 projects released across various mediums last year and the establishment of a new headquarters in Los Angeles, Hartbeat is positioned for continued growth and innovation under Levine's leadership.
With Levine's appointment, experts believe Hartbeat's strategic focus will be on expansion and diversification within the entertainment industry. People might even see a hint of Warner Bros. in Hart's creative vision.
