SEB Venture Capital revealed that it had invested in Donya Labs AB, an international player in the optimization of 3D graphics for video games. SEB Venture Capital is the venture capital business unit of SEB, a Swedish financial Group. The funds raised from the investment will allow Donya Labs to accelerate growth and diversify in direction of computer-aided design (CAD), film, and architecture.

SEB Venture Capital has been active in investments of high-potential growth companies for almost two decades. With a base capital of SEK2.5 billion, it currently has 28 portfolio organisations, each one within the life science and technology industries. The firm has completed around 70 exits since its beginnings.

"We already have an investment in this segment, that produces 2D and 3D graphics. So, we are quite familiar with the market, and we think that the market will grow including 3D printing especially in areas like CAD," SEB Venture Capital Investment Manager, Ulf Lewander, explained.
