It wasn't too long ago since things have become official between Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell. While the former The Vampire Diaries actress have only gotten over her ex-boyfriend and co-star, Ian Somerhalder, she's now enjoying a new romantic affair with the "Whiplash" actor.

The couple has announced their relationship in a rather cheesy way through Twitter.

Stowell tweeted, "That weird moment when you realize you don't follow your girlfriend on Twitter #socialmediaproblems @ninadobrev," coupled with a screenshot photo of Dobrev's twitter page. And the mushiness doesn't end as the actress replied back with, "That awkward moment when u realize ur not following him either&gotta do it realfast b4 he realizes," plus some emojis, the two do know how to make some news.

And as if the tweets weren't obvious enough, Stowell spoon-feeds everyone with his final tweet saying, "I guess it's official @ninadobrev." And so concludes their status.

But then there were some rumors that Dobrev is only using her boyfriend to end relentless talks and news about her failed relationship with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. The two had quite a remarkable love story gaining diehard fans for their onscreen and real life relationship. But things ended abruptly and now the 36-year-old actor is married to actress Nikki Reed.

Now rumors purport that Dobrev is in this relationship with Stowell just to close her ties to both Somerhalder and previous series, "The Vampire Diaries" altogether. And allegedly, the actress is accused of flaunting her relationship to rub it on the "Sleepy Hollow" actress, who was never too modest in publicly sharing her romance with Somerhalder. Plus seeing how fans can't stop themselves from urging the 26-year-old to return to the popular CW series, her relationship with Stowell may help end 'DeLena' indefinitely.

Now Dobrev seems to be certain on not looking back; totally in for a new love story with Stowell, plus a possible career opportunity in "Baywatch". Although Dobrev and Stowell's relationship as boyfriend-girlfriend isn't widely accepted as it is, the two is withstanding against rumors and seem to be totally in love with each other.

Presently, the couple remains active in social media as both share their love in tweets for Paris.
