The Flash-Arrow Crossover Episode Update, Spoilers: First Look Photo Released; Cast Reveals Character, Plot Details

Fans who are patiently waiting for the crossover of "The Flash" and "Arrow" this year just got a couple of reasons to get even more excited. The latest developments on this major event include: the arrival of the first look photo featuring the fan favorite heroes and some scoops revealed by the cast themselves. 

As shared by Entertainment Weekly, the first look photo of "The Flash-Arrow" crossover definitely looks badass, as familiar faces from both series as well as characters from Legends of Tomorrow were seen wearing their costumes in the image.

The latest promotional photo includes Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) among others.

On a related note, series star Victor Garber who plays Dr. Stein on Legends of Tomorrow offered some scoop abound in an interview with Variety. 

When asked about what he can preview about the crossover that will set up LoT, Garber assured fans that the events that will unfold are “all part of the same world” that will eventually “lead-up to the premiere of Legends.” He relates that by the time the crossover episode lands, he’s certain that followers of the DC comics will be “really excited and ready for it”.

Meanwhile, The Flash actress Candice Patton, has confirmed that her character, Iris West, will be MIA on the said episode. “[Iris] is not involved at all in the crossovers that we have explored thus far,” she told MTV in a report.

Despite of this sad news, the actress remains hopeful that Barry’s childhood bestie can still land a spot in future crossovers. “That doesn’t mean we’ll never see that. We know that crossovers have been extremely popular in our universe on the CW, so I’m sure we’ll have more,” she allowed.

With the latest developments on "The Flash-Arrow" crossover, viewers can definitely look forward to another entertaining and action-packed hour of television.

The crossover is slated to air in the first week of December on the CW.
