Business houses headquartered in the United Kingdom expressed their interest in making investments in the state of Andhra Pradesh. A business meet organized by the British South India Chamber of Commerce, which helms associations from South India located in the United Kingdom.

The meeting was initiated to create awareness between British companies and South Indian governments. They discussed the possibilities and opportunities for investments.

The British South India Chamber of Commerce promotes and regulates the British companies operating in South India, where Andhra Pradesh is located. Other states in the region include Kerala, Pondicherry, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. This meeting was the second time that the state officials and the BSICC arranged. The first engagement happened in July last year.

"It was a fantastic opportunity to present the business opportunities in Andhra Pradesh in the committee rooms of the British Parliament to the eminent group of delegates who attended the business meet," said K. Lakshminarayana, a chief consultant of Andra Pradesh Project Facilitatiors and Consultancy Services Limited.
