Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Confirmed in Development

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphones' official Android 6.0 Marshmallow have been confirmed in development. Considered Google's most polished software upgrade yet, Android 6.0 Marshmallow brings an innovative search features and will amp up battery life, plus more improvements.

Samsung is officially incorporating its own user interface with Google's new build Android 6.0 Marshmallow software. In the development phase, Samsung Mobile is on the verge of integrating its own software with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

After the development phase, testing will immediately succeed wherein the performance of the new build is being assessed if allowable to release. When deemed ready, official release shall come.

According to an official list of the brand's Marshmallow plans, the biggest Android upgrade will come out in the first quarter of 2016. Meanwhile, as it was reported, the upgrade might come as early as January.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow brings an all-new customization capacity, one of Google's finest design for the operating system. It brings small but notable additions like the battery consumption gauged in milliampere hours, System UI tuner manages power, and a file browser.

The Material Design user interface has a lot of tweaks from major ones down to the minutest like status bar, better color scheme complements and uniform appearance.

With the new Google Now, the app recognizes a wide array of information like reviews, movies, TV shows, places, phone numbers, books, parking lot, restaurants, landmarks, contacts and so many others.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is also confirmed rolling out to Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5, among others.
