Starting October 26th, everyone can pre-order the new Apple TV, as confirmed by the Cupertino-based tech giant. The first set of devices is expected to be shipped later next week to meet the deadline set by Apple.

After almost three years, Apple has finally released a new addition to its television flagship. This fourth-generation Apple TV includes a Siri remote control with touchscreen capabilities and features its own application store. It also sports a faster processor and will cost at $149 for the 32GB variant and $199 for the 64GB model.

The latest Apple TV has an upgraded App Store and a new operating system. This operating system is called tvOS, which is based on the iOS 9 that runs the device. It will also be powered by an A8 chip with 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, the set-top box includes Siri, Apple's virtual assistant. It provides information in the lower-third section of the screen, which include the latest news, sports scores, and weather reports. Users can simply launch applications and search for content by asking Siri to do it.

As for its redesigned remote control, it has a glass trackpad to let users slide and tap their way through the new interface, same with the trackpad used in MacBooks. It also features volume controls that can be programmed to function with the users existing television set and charges using a standard Lightning Connector. And the battery life of the new Apple TV is around three months on a single charge, as per Apple.

Nonetheless, Apple tries its best to revamp the television experience of all Apple TV users. It says that this device will be the "foundation of the future TV." In just a week's time, everyone can get a hold of this top-of-the-line device. So, pre-order and start enjoying the ultimate smart TV experience!
