Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has really been stepping up since it entered its second season. After washing its hands off the "boring" and "uninteresting" story arcs of the first season (starting with the HYDRA storyline in the last few episodes), 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has since become the respectable TV arm of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that it deserves to be, entertaining its viewers with suspenseful and exciting plot twists - one of which is currently in play.

While a good storyline on its own, Season 2 heavily focuses on introducing its fans to the 'Inhumans,' super-powered humans who were genetically altered by the Kree race (There is currently a planned film for the Inhumans which is slated to be released in 2019). From Coulson's addictive etching of a hidden map on the wall down to Skye's transformation into 'Quake,' it is clear that everything about 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will lead to a more suspenseful 'Inhumans' storyline that will eventually conclude in the 2019 planned film.

Spoilers for the next episode of 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D' titled "One of Us" have been released recently, according to a report by IGN. In the promotional video, Calvin Zabo and his gang of super-powered humans will begin a reign of terror to draw Coulson and his team out. May will seek help from her husband, Dr. Andrew Garner (which will be played by Blair Underwood), to help Skye control her powers.

Marvel has also released the sypnosis for the 15th episode titled "One Door Closes," which would premier on March 31. According to an article posted by ComicBook.com, the sypnosis goes:

"War comes to Coulson's doorstep in a way he never anticipated as shocking revelations are brought to light, and Skye struggles to control her new abilities but will soon make a decision that irrevocably changes her life."

Does this mean that Skye will finally decide to leave S.H.I.E.L.D.? It is difficult to make an accurate prediction, but that is what makes 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' such a great show to watch.

'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' airs every Tuesday evening on ABC.
