LG G4 Android Update: LG & Mobile Carriers on the Verge of Android 6.0 Marshmallow Preparation

LG has been reported in the tech department that it might be skipping the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for its flagship devices including G4. While mid-range LG smartphones and tablets have already received the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, G4 units on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon are now Marshmallow-bound.
Reports tell that mobile carriers in the US are now busy prepping the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update as it nears release which is slated this month. Marshmallow software shall come over come through over-the-air update using a Wi-Fi connection.
If notified for the download, ensure battery life is still at 50% before downloading the update. Storage should have an extra memory space depending on the download's file size. The update will come in stages which means it will come to other units on a later time.
