AT&T to Update Motorola Moto X (XT1058) & Moto X (XT1097) with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

AT&T is set to release the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop software version to Motorola Moto X devices with version numbers XT1058 and XT1097. The update is expected to come before the Android 6.0 Marshmallow begins hitting phones later this month.
Motorola Moto X units under mobile carrier AT&T are expected to get the latest and final Android Lollipop software via over-the-air (OTA) download using a good Wi-Fi connection. Although Moto X (XT1058) had been suspended from the Android 5.1 Lollipop update last July 20, reports tell that it will skip 5.1 and head over to 5.1.1 version.
When prompted for the download, make sure the battery is charged up to at least 50 percent before proceeding to the download. Storage should have an extra memory space depending on the download's file size.
