Android Marshmallow debuts on September 29; 1st to Run on New LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus

The long wait might be over for the Android fans. On September 29, Android 6.0, popularly known as Android Marshmallow, is said to be released during Google's Nexus event in San Francisco.

Google is set to hold this event to unveil the two latest Nexus devices. The first Nexus is Nexus 5X alias Bullhead made by LG, while the second one is Nexus 6 alias Angler built by Huawei. These smartphones are Google's newest mobile device offerings that will show off the latest version of its Android software, the Android Marshmallow.

Additionally, these two will be the first devices to run the software. However, Google might release the update to the existing LG Nexus 5, Motorola Nexus 6, and NTC Nexus 9 as well.

Android Marshmallow operating system includes a simpler approach to permissions, which gives the users more control over what information applications can be accessed. It also comes with USB Type-C support, a number of tweaks and improvements throughout the OS, and Google's latest Android Pay mobile wallet platform.

Moreover, Android Marshmallow provides Quick Setting tiles that allow users to appropriate a microSD label as a default place for storage. This new OS will definitely bring boatload of opening upgrades to Android users.

This move is critical particularly for Huawei, since this is the first time that the company will build a Nexus device. This Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications company has made a great push to produce a more high-end smartphone and build its brand as it partnered with Google to receive additional credibility in the Android community.

On the other hand, it's the third time that Google has partnered with LG on a Nexus smartphone. This South Korean multinational electronics company has already created the highly-regarded Nexus 4 and 5 devices, which are notable for their sleek design, affordability, and top-quality components.

Android spectators and users just have to wait patiently for this day to come. Definitely, these new Nexus devices with Android Marshmallow OS will become a hit in the market.
