Robert Downey Jr. is continuing his streak of shocking interviews as he recently described indie filmmakers as "inexperienced and lame" following his walk-out stint in another interview in UK. When in talks about Iron Man 4, Downey remains coy about his return as the man in the iron suit.

"Iron Man" is currently the center of independent movie industry's fury after Downey Jr. interview about independent films. The 50-year old actor was asked if he will jump aboard a "$500,000 budget indie movie," to which the actor replied a quick "No." According to Downey Jr., he finds the process of filming independent movies as "exhausting" and thinks small-time movies take the most out of its actors. He also regarded indie filmmakers as "kind of inexperienced and lame" doing "mediocre"

According to a report, Robert Downey Jr's reasons can all just backfire to him as major films are definitely much more exhausting to accomplish than minor ones. Chris Evans even revealed that the two "Avengers: Infinity War" movies will be shot for nine months, where Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Iron Man. The report also noted that RDJ has already worked with some "inexperienced" filmmakers like Guy Ritchie, whom the actor worked with on his "Sherlock Holmes" films. Ritchie was barely known to the public before making "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Joe Wright, RDJ's director in "The Soloist" only handled miniseries before making it big helming "Pride and Prejudice." RDJ seem to have forgotten about these projects while doing the interview.

RDJ also remains ambiguous when making statements about the possibility of "Iron Man 4" hitting the big screen again. The Iron Man actor once teased about the release of another sequel but Marvel is still yet to make an official announce about it.

The independent movie industry is the latest recipient of Robert Downey Jr's nasty remarks a la Tony Stark after calling small-time directors "inexperienced and lame." RDJ seems to prefer major movies as he is about to star in two more "Avengers" movie as the philanthropist Tony Stark, who might not get another solo movie.
