As the Microsoft Corporation unveils its newest Windows 10 operating system, it also revealed three smartphones. One of the newest smartphone released by the American tech giant was the Lumia 550 and its official promo video has been recently revealed, showing a closer look ta the device's features and significant pre-installed applications.

According to Gospel Herald, the Microsoft Lumia 550 is a budget device that brings Windows 10 for a reasonable price. This handset has a 5-inch screen with a quad-core Snapdragon 210 CPU with 1.1 GHz CPU.

Furthermore, the MNR Daily cited other specifications of Lumia 550. This newest handset from Microsoft sports a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 314ppi. The handset has an 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded further through a microSD.

The Microsoft Lumia 550 is armored with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It is powered by a 2100 mAh capacity battery and runs with Windows 10 Mobile pre-installed.The newest device by Microsoft also comes with the key Windows 10 apps such as Cortana, Maps, Groove Music, Movies and Photos, together with productivity tools, including the latest Outlook mail and built-in Office apps. Microsoft also offers secured cloud storage on OneDrive with the Lumia 550 that will allow users to store and sync their information and documents across Windows 10 devices.

As for the Microsoft Lumia 550's price, Latinos Post stated on its article that the device is available at pre-purchase in France tagged at €130 or approximately $148. For the color variants the handset is available in white and black, yet more color variants could still be obtainable.

There was no mention of a shipping date, but there are speculations suggesting that the Lumia 550 will be rolled out sometime in November. Hopefully, more details about the device will be given by Microsoft soon.
