Resident Evil 7 News: Alice likely to return in Raccoon City with 2 new female protagonists this FALL; Director Koji Oda returns for RE 0- HD Remaster release

Rumors on highly anticipated return of Capcom's newest survival title, Resident Evil 7, have been rife online to whet the appetite of gamers on what to expect from the next installment following a lackluster release of RE 6. Leaks on its release date to happen this coming October as well as the characters to be featured in the next main entry to the franchise have reportedly been outed. Meanwhile, the game developer has confirmed the release date of Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster happening early next year.

Based on the recent reports, the release date of Resident Evil 7 is set around the time that 343 Industries' Xbox One exclusive title, Halo 5: Guardians, hits the store shelves. In terms of gameplay, the game's popular character, Alice, has been rumored to make her awaited return with two new female protagonists where the game will now have a total of three heroines to be seen.

Meanwhile, Resident Evil Zero Zero HD Remaster is set to win favors of fans for the HD consoles and PC version early 2016 and takes place before the events of the original Resident Evil game.

This remastered version of the survival horror video game which debuted back in 2002 will still feature STARS police officer Rebecca Chambers and death row convict Billy Coen who will work together to solve a zombie outbreak. The game is designed with 'partner zapping' feature which will allow players to switch between the two main characters who both possess their own unique skill sets. Players can also control both characters simultaneously or control them to separate in order to cover a larger area when exploring.

Capcom first announced the release of Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster last May and the game's original director, Koji Oda, will still be working in the development of the game for High Definition consoles and Windows PC.

Resident Evil 7 is confirmed to be under way and tipped to be released sometime in fall and around the release of Halo 5: Guardians while the Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster will be out for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the PC early 2016.
