Resident Evil 7 hits shelves around Halo 5: Guardians October launching; Resident Evil 0 HD release set early 2016

After a disappointing release of RE 6, Capcom is ready to redeem itself with Resident Evil 7, the newest entry to the franchise which is set to release around fall season, the same time that Halo 5: Guardians launching in October. Meanwhile, Resident Evil 0 HD gameplay details, screens and trailer have been recently unveiled online. 

The news of the latest main addition to the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil 7 to be on the store shelves estimately the same time as Halo 5: Guardians was first revealed courtesy of the research firm SuperData known as the number 1 provider of market intelligence for free-to-play gaming, digital console, mobile, PC downloadable, streaming media and eSports. 

Although, Capcom is yet to confirm this upcoming installment, which some say this coming E3 event next week. 

The said report on the video game research company's website provided some release information on the next Resident Evil and Call of Duty games. 

The report reads, "We anticipate this month's downturn to level off during the coming few months, following a regular seasonal pattern but expect to see an upswing as the next editions of several major franchises like Halo and Resident Evil come out in the 2015 fall season."

In addition, rumor has it that new characters will be featured in Resident Evil 7. Although Alice will possibly come back in the next entry, a character in the movie will be stripped off from the new cast roster. It is sad that the game will be adding three new characters, two of them wil be female. 

In related story, Capcom has finally unveiled the trailer debut for Resident Evil 0 HD which is recently announced to come out in early 2016. The remastered version of the 2002 survival horror title shall afford the players significantly improved visuals, better sound and widescreen support giving an option of a modernized control setup

Game Spot reported that the story of Resident Evil 0 follows the events before the original Resident Evil. The game's lead characters include the police officer Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen who is a dead man walking.The two find themselves to team up in order to survive from a virus spread that calused a zombie outbreak.

The game's feature called 'partner zapping' enables gamers to switch between the two characters whenever they want to throughout the duration of the play. The two characters own individual and unique set of skills. Also, players will be able to control both characters either at the same time or separetely so as to expand maps to explore.

E3 is about to take place next week and fans don't have to wait for long to see more of what to expect when Resident Evil 7 launches this fall while Resident Evil 0 HD is slated to release early 2016 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
