Fans of A&E's hit drama-thriller "Bates Motel" will have to endure few more months before the anticipated season 4 premieres. Speculations about the next season's events continue to pour online and here is a list of the possible plots in the next season of "Psycho"'s small scree prequel.

Dylan and Emma's to bring normalcy to the show

Before the third season of "Bates Motel" ended, Max Thieriot's Dylan and Olivia Cooke's Emma shared an intimate kiss that made their fans go wild. Their budding relationship is reportedly the only normal thing that will happen next season, reports Realty Today.

Fans of the series should prepare for a darker season ahead now that Norman is a full-blown psycho but maybe once in a while, the writers will give them a break and throw in some Dylan and Emma scenes to lighten the general mood.

Romero and Norma's relationship becomes serious

Sheriff Romero, played by Nestor Carbonell, did all he can to protect Vera Farmiga's Norma to the point that he killed Bob Paris, played by Kevin Rahm. Romero's awaited profession of his love for Norma also happened last season, which may lead to their serious albeit complicated relationship.

Norman returns to Pineview sanitarium

Since Freddie Highmore's Norman Bates is now just a few blackouts away from being the Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho," Norma will try to do everything she can to help her son recover and probably protect other people from his psycho tendencies.

Design and Trend reports that because of the shocking events during last season's finale, "Bates Motel" season 4 will once again see Freddie Highmore inside the Pineview Sanitarium.

20 exciting episodes are underway

A&E Network gave "Bates Motel" two more seasons with 10 episodes each so fans can "witness the next stages of Norman's transformation into the most notorious psychopath in cinematic history," says the network's official statement via Spoiler TV. Season 4 will start filming later this year.

Exciting things are waiting for the fans of "Bates Motel" as the series enters its fourth season on 2016, focusing on Norman Bates's downward spiral. Norma will try to save her son and might also take her relationship with Sheriff Romero to the next level.
