History's "Vikings" just dropped its fourth season's trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con and fans roared in excitement to say the least. Aside from the much-awaited rise of conflict between Ragnar and Rollo, fans also took notice of Queen Aslaug and Lagertha in the trailer as these women are set to dominate men next season.

"Vikings" season 4 will not drop until 2016 but its recently released trailer teased the exciting events next season. Diehards who have attended History's panel in this year's SDCC were able to witness the first hints as to how the story will play out next season.

Reasonable parts of the trailer were notably intended to highlight Alyssa Sutherland's Queen Aslaug and Katheryn Winnick's Lagertha Lothbrok. According to TV.com, Sutherland's character may be a ruler all on her own while a scene from the teaser showed Lagertha talking down to a man before dropping his pants while holding a very huge knife.

With Queen Aslaug devising her own scheme and Lagertha Lothbrok getting tougher as ever, Screen Rant noted that the answer to the question of who among the two will became ruler of the land will remain uncertain as the story of "Vikings" develops.

Of course fans of the show obviously cannot wait for the confrontation of Ragnar and Rollo especially that the two finally dropped the friendly brother act. We previously reported that season 4 will feature a two-year time jump to highlight the rivalry between the characters of Travis Fimmel and Clive Standen.

Filming for History's sole scripted drama is currently ongoing in Ireland, gearing up for a 2016 release. Throughout its three-season run, the show managed to draw solid ratings with last season garnering 2.45 million viewers per episode.

"Vikings" season 4 released its first trailer that saw the combination of Queen Aslaug and Lagertha as they develop into being the ruler of their own. Meanwhile, Ragnar and Rollo's rivalry will continue to intensify as the show returns to History Channel on 2016.
