The much-awaited spinoff of "The Flash" and "Arrow" will debut by midseason of the two top-rated CW series. But before "Legends of Tomorrow" premieres, the cast will be making appearances alongside Barry Allen and Oliver Queen.

The cast of the upcoming CW superhero series "Legends of Tomorrow" sat down with Collider at the San Diego Comic-Con to tease DC fans about the new series. Wentworth Miller, who plays Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold, said that the new superheroes will get small screen debuts on "The Flash" and Arrow" before the spinoff drops.

"All of us will continue on The Flash and Arrow and in crossovers next fall leading up to the debut of the new show," he said. "[These appearances are] meant to be sort of a launching pad for Legends."

As for Ciara Renee, who has already appeared as Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl in the first season finale of "The Flash," she assured her continuous attachment to the show and also the introductions of Legends characters so the viewers will not be bombarded with new information when the spinoff premieres in January.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also teased the fans at Comic-Con about the main villain of the new CW series, Big Bad Vandal Savage, reports TVLine. Kreisberg said that the new superheroes will have to find a way to defeat Big Bad, who has been around for thousands of years.

Meanwhile, speculations about Franz Drameh's role in "The Flash" and "Arrow" spinoff may finally have an answer as Comic Book reports that he could be replacing Robbie Amell's Ronnie Raymond as Firestorm. Executive producer Phil Klemmer also hinted that Drameh's Jay Jackson is "probably the last person Professor Stein wants to share Firestorm with."

Fans of Robbie Amell should watch out for that transition to find out the fate of his character in the series. DC fans are also expected to see the "Legends of Tomorrow" superheroes in the new seasons of "The Flash" and "Arrow" before the spinoff premieres on The CW by January 2016.
