It's known that Capcom takes a long length of time intervals in releasing their games. Street Fighter V will presumably be among its players during March 31, 2016, the date set for the game's release as seen on Amazon and Best Buy.

Capcom community manager Seth Killian promised that the game would be out before 2019, and later on made no further announcement.

"It will be before 2019," he said on a report. "Now I'm going to be fired for promising Street Fighter 5 before 2019. I think I should be OK. We'll see. They'll do 2020 just to screw me and make me look like an ass."

The publisher of the game hadn't offered any date for the game's release since then, but Amazon and Best Buy have been listing an unofficial release on their websites on the said date. This is somehow right since Capcom announced to release it on spring next year.

Street Fighter V was announced to be PS4 and PC exclusive. But Capcom announced the plans to run a public beta test so as to claim a record of being the "largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history." Players who pre-order the game is guaranteed to have a slot in the beta program.

Capcom stated it's awareness on how Street Fighter fans are fired up for the fifth installment of the game, saying, "Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter V coming to the PS4 and PC next spring."

Though, Capcom said in a statement that spring 2016 is far from being the solid official release date.

But Amazon and Best Buy had confirmed it somehow.

Street Fighter V is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC, and it will feature cross-platform play between both systems.

The game is expected to sell 2 million copies by the end of Capcom's current fiscal year, as the company announced their sales target. They also made it clear that this figure includes copies sold digitally and through traditional brick-and-mortar retail outlets.

The Street Fighter III and Street Fighter IV took ten years to be released, but major developments on the games were added. Sure it's been a worth for such a long length of time. And Street Fighter is definitely a kill for all players waiting for it.
