If you have seen The Avengers: Age of Ultron, you might just have to wait a little longer until the two-parts third installment of the Avengers franchise The Avengers: Infinity Wars is released for theaters on May 2018 and 2019 respectively.

The first two segments of the Marvel franchise remained to be chart-topping blockbusters. The Avengers, which was released during May last 2012, almost reached the breakeven with the 220 million dollars estimated budget on the first week. Until September of the same year they had a 623-million-dollar gross in the USA alone.

The first movie was directed by Joss Whedon, known for his Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. and Firefly TV series. He also directed the following film. He also wrote the story with Zak Penn.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron, having the same PG-13 rating with the first one, was released just recently this year. It was released on the first day of May. And until now it has grossed to over 372 million dollars in the USA alone.

The story was written by Joss Whedon, and it was based on the comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The first movie was about the superhero band defeating Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, and his army, the second film focused on the battle of Earth's mightiest heroes against the gone-horribly-wrong program Ultron. The plot for the Infinity Wars will be about fighting the titan leader Thanos and his powerful infinity Gauntlet. And while everyone is waiting for the official release of casts, the target for Thano's role is Josh Brolin.

Same casts will remain to play the Avengers roles: Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), though the director will be different, and it's actually a duo. The Infinity Wars will be directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will also write the screenplay.
