"Ant-Man" joins in Marvel's Phase 3 opener "Captain America: Civil War." Marvel included Paul Rudd to the huge ensemble of superheroes for an epic big-screen adventure on 2016. Anxious fans of the franchise should also watch out for Captain Steve Rogers' new suit in his latest movie.

"Captain America: Civil War" will focus on Captain America and Iron Man's different ideologies sparked by the Superhuman Registration Act. The regulation is the idea of various governments that requires masked superheroes to reveal their identities and be held accountable for all their actions involving collateral damage. This will create division among the Avengers, some siding Cap who opposes the rule while others side with Iron Man who's pro-registration.

This is where "Ant-Man" enters the picture. Scott Lang is a lesser-known superhero in the timeline created by the MCU. Compared to Tony Starks, Scott Lang is a nobody but has everything to lose since he has a daughter. And that may be his potential reason for joining the Star-Spangled Avenger in defying the registration.

Other relatively new Marvel superheroes are about to be introduced in the big screen when "Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters. The Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, will make a debut in "Civil War" before starring in his own titular movie on 2018.

Captain America will also don a new suit in "Civil War," dropping some of the red and white on the arms, which makes the suit heavy in navy blue. There's also a different pattern to the armored plates on his chest, with lines stemming from the star.

Filming of "Captain America: Civil War" started a week after the release of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," with shooting locations in Atlanta, Georgia, Germany, Puerto Rico, and Iceland.

Marvel released an official list of the characters in "Captain America: Civil War," including Paul Rudd's "Ant-Man." The size-shifting superhero might just side with Steve Rogers and go head to head with Iron Man. Aside from an epic battle, fans should also watch out for new superheroes in "Civil War" and of course, Cap's new suit.
