With the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" nabbing the international box office records, Marvel fans can't stop receiving the good end as Daniel Bruhl and Elizabeth Olsen of "Captain America 3: Civil War" recently confirmed their roles for the film. Bruhl is set to play Baron Zemo while Olsen will be joining as her customary role as Scarlet Witch.

Marvel Studios revealed Daniel Brühl's participation in the film last November. Speculations on what character he will be playing have made news and Baron Zemo was considered to be one of the possible suspects.  But after the five months of the announcement, Bruhl confirmed himself that he will be playing Baron Zemo and is finally ready to talk about the role.

In an interview with British newspaper The Independent, Bruhl finally ceased the rumors. "I think I can tell you that without being thrown into Marvel prison," he said. "For the first few days I'll walk around like a little boy, just amazed by the megalomania of it. It's such a huge project. We could do 20 films with the budget." Bruhl is known for his role as a Formula 1 champion Niki Lauda in "Rush" and a Nazi sniper Fredrick Zoller in "Inglourious Basterds."

His character Baron Zemo has been one of Captain America's enemies for decades, although in multiple forms. He is distinctive with a hood in his face that permanently stuck during a confrontation with Evans' role. The character is a creation of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and is present since the WWII where he clashed with The Red Skull (portrayed by Hugo Weaving in "Captain America: The First Avenger").

Meanwhile, in addition to Bruhl's character in "Captain America 3: Civil War," Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch in the new "Avengers" installment, also confirmed that she'll be joining the civil war of Marvel heroes during a promo event for the movie this weekend.  "I guess I'm allowed to talk about that now," she teased at a Meet the Filmmakers panel in London.

In the "Civil War," Bruhl's Baron Zemo and the other character Crossbones, who will be played by recurring cast Frank Grillo, will be Captain America's enemies. However, Chris Evans' predicament will not be ending very soon as an additional villain will be added in the moniker of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.

Although the official plot has not yet been revealed, fans and online discussions are certain on how the iconic Marvel heroes will play the cards. According to Cinema Blend, Grillo's character, Crossbones, has made accountable for stirring an event that leads to the government to pass a law that requires superheroes to reveal their secret identities and register with the authorities. This is now called the "Superhero Registration Act." It is the root of the division and faction between Captain America, as he joins as the leader of the side that counters this law, and Iron Man, who rules the pro-registration party. Still, Zemo's role has not yet been identified in the fuss.

"Captain America 3: Civil War" is slated to be released on May 6, 2016. It stars original Marvel heroes including Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Evans as Captain America, Bruhl as Baron Zemo, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, and among others.
