Ever since Microsoft had announced the Microsoft Hololens, fans had been all over the web for news regarding the next Virtual Reality device. And Microsoft had not closed its doors to these fans who want to know more about the said device.

Basically, the Microsoft Hololens is physically all ready for release. However, it is apps that are keeping the release date from happening. Microsoft is currently working with Xbox in coming up with games to suit the HoloLens. This actually makes sense according to Crossmap because what is the use of a cool gadget if there are no games suited for it.

With regards to its release date, fans may expect it to be in time with the release of the Windows 10 which is scheduled this September. So fans might need to wait for just a couple of months more.

But what is it with the Microsoft HoloLens that would be worth waiting for? Here are some points to consider.

First, the Microsoft HoloLens is wireless thus making it non-bothersome to wear.

Second, the Microsoft HoloLens is the first Holographic computer to run in Windows 10.

Thirdly, the Microsoft HoloLens enables the user to incorporate the virtual world to the real world thus it was given the name of "augmented reality device". Just imagine playing "minecraft" on top of your table.

The Microsoft HoloLens hosts within it 3 processors, and among those 3, the HPU or the Holographic Processing Unit is the most catching. Why? Aside from being the first of its kind in the world, the HPU is responsible for making the holograms in the head gear.

By the time the Microsoft HoloLens is released, it will cost around $500. So if you are interested in attaining this amazing new piece of technology, you had better start saving now.
