The OnePlus One came out as a surprise to the market when it was released and was welcomed by smart phone enthusiasts openly. After many speculations whether there will be a continuation to the TLC named OnePlus franchise, it has been confirmed that OnePlus Two will be released this 2015.

Cited from PC World, Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus  has stated that the OnePlus Two is expected to be made available to the market in six months time, giving it a June 2015 release date. But putting into consideration the law of supply and demand, even if the company OnePlus had already made its name, the company is still careful not to overproduce its handsets. Thus, the company will be retaining its Invite-Only strategy. According to PC Advisor, OnePlus had said:

"With the experiences we've gained with the One, we will be far more prepared to make the same transition with the OnePlus 2. Yes, the 2 will initially launch with invites. We're committed to maintaining razor-thin margins in order to give as much value as possible back to our users, and this drastically increases our risk." "The OnePlus 2 will bring the challenges that come along with a brand new product, and initially, our invite system will help us to manage that risk. It also helps us to be sure that every OnePlus 2 user gets the amazing experience that they deserve."

The OnePlus Two is expected to retain the 5.5 inch size of its predecessor, however, its screen resolution bumps up to 2K. The smart phone is expected to run with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with a 4 GB RAM. The OnePlus Two will also have an outstanding battery life with a 3300 mAh battery.

Another novelty that the Chinese manufacturer will be handling to the public is that it will be releasing its OnePlus Two with their very own Oxygen OS. This OS will prove to be more customizable and bug fixes and issues will be easily addressed by the company itself.

Fans might also expect for the release of the upcoming release of a OnePlus Mini whose release date is still not revealed.
