According to Kpopstarz, a dual sim variant of Galaxy Duos 3 will be available in the market a few weeks from now.

It was first observed that some units are now available in India based on this tweet by a local shop in Mumbai. The authenticity of the units has yet to be verified officially by Samsung. On the other hand, NDTV said that the track record of Mahesh Telecom has been credible, which suggests that it is only a matter of weeks until Samsung India does an official launch of the handset.

There have also been reports about the Galaxy S Duos similarity to Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT, but there is no evidence that could substantiate this argument. Apparently, the model number SM-G313H pertains to the Galaxy Ace NXT, while the reported model number of the Galaxy S Duos 3 is SM-G313HU, wrote The Fuse Joplin.

Moreover, Kpopstarz listed this device as a unit with a 4-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution and 5MP camera coupled with a VGA shooter at the front. The unit reportedly has an FM radio feature with RDS and a 3.5-mm audio jack. International Business Times also added that the device is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor , which is backed with an RAM 512MB and runs on Android OS version 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is also said to have a capacity of 4GB internal storage and an expandable memory. In addition, the handset is believed to support Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and 21 Mbps HSDPA connectivity. It is also said that it is housing a 1,500 mAh battery unit.

Based on the specifications, the differences of the two are more identifiable. Ace NXT has a 3.15MP camera when compared to the Duos 3's 5MP shooter. However, Ace NXT is powered by a stronger processor, which is Cortex A7 processor that clocks at 1.2 GHz.

These reports on Galaxy Duos 3 specs show that this smartphone sports decent features but is likely to be at the lower-end of the market. It doesn't share the high-end specs of the other units of the Galaxy family, but pundits believe that this product is still worth having.

Samsung Galaxy Duos 3 retails at Rs7,999 at Best Buy offer or at Rs 8,590, or $142, at maximum retail price with Mahesh.
