Apple will soon open a new retail store at Square One Shopping Centre in Ontario, Canada. The mall is considered the largest in the province and the second largest in Canada.

Apple to Open New Retail Store in Ontario, Canada

Michael Steeber, known for his "Tabletops" newsletter about Apple Retail operations, first reported the news about the upcoming store. Apple already has a retail store at Square One, but relocating to a larger space within the mall will give them access to more Canadian shoppers.

While details about the opening date remain undisclosed, the current store will be permanently closed upon the bigger store's opening.

New Apple Store at Square One

Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Square One Shopping Centre draws in over 24 million customers annually. Although the current Apple Square One store has been open since August 2009, making it familiar to Canadian customers, its relocation and expansion will enhance the visibility of Apple products in the area.

Apple's upcoming retail store in the Ontario mall is part of its expansion project to extend its global presence. That includes the recent announcement of a new store and research and development center in China and the opening of a store in South Korea earlier this year.

It is still uncertain how Apple will advertise its retail stores. However, a discount for its new iPhone 15 models would probably work. Customers visiting an Apple retail store can explore and purchase a wide range of its products, including the iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Plus, there are premium support services to assist customers when needed.
