Fans of Mortal Kombat X have been very long hungry for updates on the Kombat Pack 2 DLC that some of them continue to entertain their selves in a guessing game on who will be the next characters. With the latest tweet from Mortal Kombat X co-creator Ed Boon, the inclusion of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is already ruled out.

One of the fans asked Boon on Twitter about the inclusion of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the DLC saying, "are we going to have them as guest kharacters?" Boon Ed replied with a straight "no" answer. While the tweet appeared to be in a jokingly manner, this is the space where fans of Mortal Kombat X throw all sorts of crazy ideas for the game's next guest characters.

Speculations of guest characters include The Joker, Sektor, Cyrax, Noob Saibot, Elvira, Indiana Jones, Neo, Rorschach, Marcus Fenix, Ash William, Alien, and Smoke, while many fans would also like to see Smoke, Spawn, Baraka, Havik, and Drahmin in the Kombat Pack 2. Boon teased Sektor and Alien where he previously posted images giving a hint on the possible inclusion of these two characters in the upcoming expansion for Mortal Kombat X.

And along with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it is certain that neither Superman nor Batman will join the next set of fighters. As Realty Today reported, Ed Boon said in an interview that he doesn't have any desire to cut Batman's head off or to kill Superman.

As for the release date of Kombat Pack 2 DLC, Yibada cited that rumors are going around online that the awaited add-on may come out within Q1 next year and more likely March 2016. As everyone knows, Nether Realms Studios has announced back in September that the game will be receiving another major DLC and is confirmed to be released in first half of 2016.

Kombat Pack 2 is the second DLC for Mortal Kombat X released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
