Google Unveils Android Nexus Smartphones, New Chromecast, Android Tablet

Last September 29, Google has officially launched its newest product lineup in a San Francisco press event. The search engine giant's latest products include the new Android Nexus smartphones, Chromecast Audio, Chromecast video media player, and an Android tablet.

The Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X are expected to launch with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system pre-installed. Nexus 6P is Google's newest flagship handset, sporting a 3GB of RAM, 5.7-inch wQHD AMOLED Gorilla Glass 4 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, integrated fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, 3450mAh battery, 8-megapixel front snapper, and 12.3-megapixel rear camera with 4K video capability. It will also be launched with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB models and its price starts at $499.

On the other hand, the Nexus 5X gives the user a great performance in a light and compact package, with 5.2-inch screen, 2700mAh battery, 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 12.3-megapixel primary camera, USB Type-C port, and fingerprint sensor. It comes in 16GB and 32GB variants and its price starts at $379.

Google also unveiled a new version to the Pixel family, the Pixel C. It is a new device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, which can be used as a conventional tablet or fitted into a handy keyboard case. The Pixel C is a 10.2-inch, USB-C-equipped Google tablet that is set to combat the iPad and iPad Pro. Its features Nvidia Tegra X1 processor, 2560 by 1800 display, 3GB of RAM, and Maxwell GPU. The price of the Pixel C is $499 for a 32GB model and $599 for a 64GB model. The keyboard attachment is sold separately at $149.

Lastly, two new variants of Google's streaming dongle were introduced as well - an updated Chromecast and the new Chromecast Audio. The Chromecast 2 works the same as the original model, but allows for thinner form factor, improved speed and WiFi connectivity, as well as higher-resolution streaming. Whereas the Chromecast Audio is designed to plug into any receiver or speaker that has regular headphone jack and lets the user stream music through a handset wirelessly. These products are available now for $35.

Overall, Google has created innovative and top-of-the-line products that will hit the market once again. All Google spectators will absolutely eye for these exciting products.
