Google is expected to release the LG Nexus 5 on September 29 in San Francisco, along with another Nexus unit by Huawei. The LG Nexus handset may be called Nexus 5X, rumored to offer premium specs which rival other flagships for only $399.

Leaked information regarding the LG Nexus 5 2015 show that the handset brings great value for money, which is what consumers look for in a smartphone. Know Your Mobile wrote about the rumored specs of the LG Nexus 5 2015 in a report. The device is expected to carry Snapdragon 808 on board along with Adreno 418 GPU, a 16/32 GB memory, and a USB Type-C.

The LG Nexus 5 2015 will be the smaller of the two Nexus models to be unveiled, sporting a 5.2" HD display with 1080p resolution. It has two shooters: one 12 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5 MP front snapper.

Specs are not the only thing the LG Nexus 5 2015 can boast. The predecessor to the previous Nexus 5 will run the latest Google OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Android M maintained the same Material Design of Lollipop and adds a Night Mode that darkens the phone background at night to lessen the strain on the eyes. Another notable feature of Android M is the app permissions system which requires apps to ask permission only when needed.

It has been said that the LG Nexus 5 2015 is equipped with fingerprint scanners and supports Android Pay, Google's own mobile payment system. The new Nexus phone is said to be among the first to support Android Pay according to Phone Arena.

Compared to the previous Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, the LG Nexus 5 2015 will be priced slightly higher but much lower than the new iPhones and Samsung Galaxy units. The 16 GB Nexus is estimated to cost $399 while the higher-end version of 32 GB will purportedly be priced at $449.

What may be the downsides of the LG Nexus 5 2015 are its limited storage and sealed battery. Like other Nexus models, the new 2015 LG Nexus 5 has no microSD card slot. Additionally, its 2700 mAh sealed battery is likely irremovable. These limitations are said to be products of choice, not chance.

Gospel Herald announced that the unveiling of the LG Nexus 5 2015 will take place in a September 29 Google event in San Francisco. It will be accompanied by a Huawei Nexus believed to be the successor to Nexus 6. Online leaks show that the Huawei Nexus will don a bigger 5.7" QHD display, front and back shooters, metallic back panel, Snapdragon 810, and 3 GB RAM.

The September 29 event will also reveal the latest in Android M. The LG Nexus 5 2015 and Huawei Nexus will be available for pre-order starting October 13.
