As Windows 10 was released a few weeks back, Microsoft has been giving out less details of its update patches. While many are satisfied in making the transition from their previous Windows version, the concern makes some of the users worried because of not being informed of what they are getting.

Cumulative updates KB 3081424 , KB 3081436, and KB 3081438 that were released on August 2, August 12, and on August 14 respectively all have the same description. It says, "This update includes improvements to enhance the functionality of Windows 10."

According to some of the users, the three patches have something to do with the Windows Store app. As Microsoft released the first update for Windows 10, a number of users seemed to have clamored to the problem that plagued Windows Store. The issue was said to have been fixed as the second and third updates were rolled out.

A spokesperson for Microsoft explained that the company has been posting articles for each of their Knowledge Base (KB) releases eversince. This suggests that they are not actually leaving people in the dark whenever their operating system gets an update.

"As we have done in the past, we post KB articles relevant to most updates which we'll deliver with Windows as a service. Depending on the significance of the update and if it is bringing new functionality to Windows customers, we may choose to do additional promotion of new features as we deploy them," as their statement reads.

Aside from doing away patch notes, another subject that was brought up was the lack of control for auto updates. While this doesn't concern Windows 10 Pro, Home edition users will be receiving frequent updates without any options of turning it off whatsoever. Some believed that auto-updates paired with the lack of update details could affect users with complex and critical workflows.

While the issues still have many Windows 10 users somehow worried, Microsoft has left a big "trust us" statement, as they continue to deliver improvements to the operating system further
