A few weeks after Microsoft officially made Windows 10 available to public, the software giant has released a new Insider preview build of the operating system. Apparently, Microsoft still hasn't ceased in distributing Insider Preview builds, which would allow registered participants to receive future builds before they are released to the public.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10525 is the first update that Microsoft from the day the operating was first released to the public. Microsoft believe that this scheme would allow insiders to help them improve the operating system further through their feedback when bugs are spotted. The option to receive insider preview builds can be found in the settings app under the updates section.

The latest Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10525 brings about new features as well as bug fixes and other tweaks. It also delivers changes to the default color options for Start, Action Center, Taskbar, and Title bars. It also comes with better memory usage per process by compressing unused memory pages instead of writing it to the disk, thus resulting to quicker response across the Windows 10 platform. It's done using a "memory store" that's held in RAM, which is why the System task will appear to use more memory than before.

Since build 10525 is a pre-release build, it comes with a few notable issues. Some of which concerns video playback in the Movies & TV app, lack of support for optional language packs, and a problem that hinders mobile hotspot functionality.

Many think that Microsoft is being more serious about making Windows 10 the most reliable operating system to run on PC. This is the reason why they need the feedback from as many insiders as possible in order to correct the bugs and errors in their programs. Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10525 can be used for free even if the users haven't paid for the license yet.
