Another major tease about Marvel's "Daredevil" was given away for the fans to chew on while waiting for the announcement of its premiere. Photos of Jon Bernthal on the set were released just recently but the white skull head was missing from all of the snaps.

Bernthal is one of the new faces set to appear in the upcoming episodes of "Daredevil" season 2. The "The Walking Dead" alum joins as the Punisher and set photos of him as the human counterpart Frank Castle are now swirling online.

Just Jared posted another snap of a bruised Bernthal, with cuts on his face while wearing a bullet proof vest. The photos, including the ones released last week, are just glimpse of how badass Bernthal will be as Frank Castle/Punisher in the much-awaited sophomore season of the Netflix hit.

However, diehard fans of the Marvel character noticed that in all the leaked images, the famous white skull logo is still nowhere to be found, as per We Got This Covered's report. This sparked speculations that Frank Castle will get a similar character arc like what the series did to Matt Murdock. This explains why the series of leaked photos shows Bernthal as Frank Castle and not as the Punisher. Perhaps the white skull will debut towards the end of "Daredevil" season 2, with fans bursting in excitement.

Former showrunner Steven DeKnight teased that the fans will see the "Marvel version" of Frank Castle on the series. It was previously speculated that an unforgettable scene from the Punisher comics might make it to the Netflix series so trust that there will be action-packed scenes between Bernthal's Punisher and Charlie Cox's Daredevil.

The leaked photos of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle on "Daredevil" are gems for some fans of the series who cannot wait for the return of the Marvel character on Netflix. Bernthan joins Charlie Cox for another season of action-packed scenes, set to premiere on 2016.
